Blog 7: Changes to my study programme
Hello everyone, in this blog seven i will write about changes to my study programme.
First of all, I study geography at the University of Chile, geography is the science that studies the earth, both physical and human.
The truth is that I like the course a lot and I don't know if there are subjects that we should change, maybe the branches of the first semester are of a common plan and therefore they are not so aligned to the race as such. The race has subjects of the 3 main aspects in geography, such as human geography, physical geography and cartography and they increase in level as soon as you advance in the race.
The degree lasts 5 years, and I am in my second year now, my
university experience has been mostly online, so my opinions are with the
online educational system, it is not a career with so much academic load, if
one is well organized, it is possible to cope with it.
Most of the evaluations are works in report plan or
investigations, where the teaching methods they apply are to understand the
space that surrounds us as a function of the human being.
The career works in tandem with the advancement of
technology, because we make cartographies, maps that represent what you want to
show on a smaller scale and are currently made under a program that we use on
the University's computers.
The university has a very nice infrastructure, with green
areas and updated in the use of technology, perhaps the space is a little small
for the number of students, but that way we meet more people.
Thank you for reading!
